We had to say farewell to two of our friends at the end of term one, Elliot and Marley. We will miss them but are lucky to have welcomed two new friends to the 1J classroom, Jacob and Latai. They have both settled in very quickly and we look forward to the year ahead with them.
Students in K-2 had a great day on May 2nd at the AFL Skills Day. 1J made some yummy Anzac biscuits after reading the book Anzac Biscuits. It was an interesting way to learn about our soldiers that fought in the war.
Students were given the heading 'My Mum' and asked to write about their mum in the lead up to Mother's Day. This is what they wrote...
