On Tuesday we travelled to Moruya on the bus to watch superhero Tapstar's show. Tapstar taught us all about not wasting water. It was a funny, interactive show that was very educational. The students had a fun time playing in the St Mary's playground afterwards.
Students are having a great time Friday afternoons participating in our STEM challenges. They have had to design and make shoes for their teddies, a rainy day game and the tallest freestanding tower they can from two sheets of newspaper! I have been impressed with their teamwork, perseverance and problem solving skills. Today we were visited by Marc from the Environmentors! Marc taught us about the importance of not littering and the impact littering has on our environment. The students really enjoyed the interactive lesson and had lots of great ideas to share with each other.
We had a great time celebrating the last day of term with the disco to raise money for the Cancer Council. The school raised nearly $500!
